Global Campus Commencement 2026
Celebrate our WSU Global Campus graduates at the hybrid ceremony on Saturday, May 16, 2026—join in person at The Westin Seattle or virtually from anywhere in the world.
Family and friends are invited to join the celebration—whether cheering in Seattle or watching live online—as we honor the hard work and success of our Global Cougs!
Graduation vs. Commencement
Registration for graduation and registration for commencement are two separate processes.
- Graduation = applying to have your degree awarded
- Commencement = the celebration ceremony (in person or virtual) you register for separately

Registration
Once you have applied to graduate, you may register to attend commencement. All participating graduates—in person or virtual—must complete the online form. After submission, your registration is reviewed, and you’ll receive an email confirmation when approved.
Be prepared to provide the following information for the form:
- Your plans: Attend the Friday, May 15 evening reception, the Saturday, May 16 ceremony, or both.
- Format: Choose in person (Seattle) or virtual.
- Tickets (in person): You’ll receive 7 admittance tickets at check-in on May 16.
- Name & pronunciation: Confirm your diploma name for the digital program/on-screen and provide phonetic pronunciation.
- Graduate slide (optional): Upload a photo now or later and add a short quote/thank-you (≤50 words).
- Accessibility: Tell us if you or your guests need accommodations (ramp access provided; live captioning during the ceremony).
