Friday Evening Reception

Join the Associated Students of Washington State University Global (ASWSUG) for an evening of celebration at The Westin Seattle the night before commencement.

The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Cascade Ballroom Foyer with a casual meet-and-greet and cap decorating session, followed by a dinner and graduate recognition program starting at 7:00 p.m.

  • S&A Fee-Paying Students: You and one guest may attend at no cost. Additional guests are $38 per person.
  • Non-S&A Fee-Paying Students: Attendance is $38 per person, including yourself.
  • You’ll be able to select the number of guests and pay directly on the registration form.

Directions:

  • Driving: Paid parking is available at The Westin Seattle and nearby garages. From I-5, take the Seneca Street exit and follow signs toward downtown.
  • Public Transit: The hotel is a short walk from the Westlake Station (Link light rail and bus connections).
  • From Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA): Take the Link light rail directly to Westlake Station (approximately 40 minutes). The Westin is two blocks north of the station.
