WSU Global Campus Scholarship

The Student Government (ASWSU Global) has established scholarships for new or continuing students seeking their degree online from WSU.


  • Academic year (fall and spring), July 1
  • Spring only, November 1 (deadline extended to Nov. 16, 2015)
  • Summer, March 15

ASWSU Global Internship Scholarship

The Internship Scholarship provides $1,000 a semester to encourage Global Campus students to gain experience by participating in unpaid internships. To be eligible, students must pay Global Campus S&A fees, and work in an internship that carries WSU credit.

Criteria considered include the student’s GPA, written essay, and financial need. Documentation of the unpaid internship must be provided with completed application.

Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded each semester.


  • Fall semester, August 25
  • Spring semester, December 1
  • Summer semester, March 15

University-wide scholarships

You may be eligible for more than 700 different scholarships offered through WSU. Scholarships are based on financial need, academic merit, talent, and/or community involvement. Apply and fill out a scholarship application before the January 31 deadline at for early consideration.


Resident and non-resident undergraduate students may be eligible for an Academic Achievement Award. These awards are based upon your previous academic performance, and you must apply for admission to the WSU Global Campus by January 31.
