Washington State University Global Campus is celebrating Pride Month with a month-long LGBTQ+ pride flag social media campaign culminating in a virtual Knowledge Bowl event on June 30th.

Two historic events this fall – the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the end of the war in Afghanistan – offer an opportunity to reflect on what more can be done to support America’s military veterans and their families. There are around 1,500 students on the post 9/11 G.I. Bill attending classes across the WSU system. Pullman alone has more than 1,100 students enrolled who are veterans or military affiliated.

WSU Global Campus’ brand new esports team is looking for students to represent WSU in exciting virtual esports competitions. The team is looking for competitive and driven Global Campus students taking at least 6 credits per semester and maintaining a GPA of at least 2.0. Participants will be competing against other colleges and universities by playing the video game title League of Legends.
The Washington State University Global Campus student government (ASWSU Global) is now offering a financial reimbursement program for online students’ grocery expenses. The temporary program is part of an effort to meet the needs of Global Campus students during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier today, WSU President Kirk Schulz announced the decision to move in-person courses on WSU’s five physical campuses to distance delivery, beginning on Monday, March 23. This move is being made to allow for increased social distancing in light of the spread of the COVID 19 illness in the state of Washington.
