Request to move your application to a future start term:

  1. Select the Defer Your Application button and log in to your FutureCoug Portal.
    • Forgot your Password? Follow the instructions for resetting your password on the login page.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of your FutureCoug Portal and select Defer Application.
  3. Complete & submit the form. Please read all instructions and deferral conditions carefully.
    • The form will ask for a reason for your request. There are no wrong answers and deferral to a future term is assured.
  4. WSU Office of Admissions will begin processing your application for the future term you requested. You will be notified via email with your next steps!
