This free online event runs throughout the morning (8:00 am to Noon PT) and features employers throughout the nation.

Unbeknownst to him, this path would eventually lead to Pullman City Hall in the heart of Cougar country.
Cultivate proficiency at delivering a 30-second elevator pitch! In this workshop, you will collect ideas and tips, and leave equipped to craft your own. We will share information and connect best practices (and, yes, there are dos and don’ts). With a little practice, you can communicate effectively to just about any audience or in any situation. Remember, you only have one chance to make a good first impression, so invest in yourself and prepare to make the most of it!

Public Health Virtual Education Fair – January 15, 2020 – WSU Global Campus students interested in public health are invited to connect with program representatives in an online platform. This free online event runs throughout the day (6:00 am to 6:00 pm PT) and features public health programs throughout the nation.

The hosts are both a part of the Talent Acquisition Team at Keyence and have useful knowledge that can help set you apart from other applicants and hopefully advance you to the next step. Online interviews are becoming more common and Keyence wants to help you be successful when engaging in one. According to Forbes, Keyence is one of the Most Innovative Companies in the World.
Your resume is your first, and often, your only time to get noticed by a potential employer. The WSU Global Campus career advisor, Chris Miller, will cover crucial do’s and don’ts of resume and cover letter writing. This webinar will also include resources for developing strong resume content, and attendees will participate in an activity that highlights the importance of tailoring a resume for a specific job listing.
When hours got long and logistics were tricky, Christine Curtis focused on what developing a free, user-friendly online textbook would mean for her students. “They’re excited to not pay for the software, or a textbook,” Curtis said. “But we’re also able to be more interactive and the students really like that. It’s compatible with Blackboard, which they’re already familiar with, and the content is really good.”
