Disability Virtual Career Fair – November 16, 2021 – WSU Global Campus students with a disability are invited to connect with employers in a free online end-to-end accessible technology platform. This free online event runs throughout the day (6:00 am to 3:00 pm PT) and features employers throughout the nation.
Forage is an open access platform designed to unlock exciting careers for students by connecting them with company-endorsed Virtual Work Experience Programs. Virtual Work Experience Programs are online programs that contain a series of resources and tasks designed to simulate the real-world experience of starting a career. In a nutshell, Virtual Work Experience Programs on Forage are designed first and foremost to help students. By completing a Forage Virtual Work Experience Program, you will better understand the diverse and exciting career pathways available to you and build the skills and confidence that will set you up for success.
Micro-Internships help companies get immediate support while identifying and evaluating candidates for future hiring needs. The Parker Dewey Micro-Internships program connects students to a diverse network of companies and organizations to take on professional, paid, short-term assignments year-round. As a complement to existing college recruiting efforts and semester-long internships, Micro-Internships provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their skills, develop relationships, and explore career paths, while providing real value to businesses.
Washington State University is announcing its first ever system-wide esports tournament, slated for the week of March 21, 2022. The fully virtual tournament, titled Global Gauntlet, will be hosted by WSU Global Campus and is open to current and incoming students from all campuses and locations in the WSU system.
