Before You Get Started
What skills does online learning require?
WSU Online lets you study when and where you want. With that freedom comes the responsibility to schedule your time wisely. Your graduate college advisor will help you stay on track. But, in the end, you’ll need to be good at organizing your time.

Are the courses completely online?
Yes. You can complete your degree from anywhere you have an Internet connection. We will, however, invite you to social gatherings.
Do I have to be online at specific times?
Rarely. In a few courses, a professor may ask students to log on at a certain time. The professor will work with students to schedule a convenient time.
How much will it cost?
Online students generally pay the same tuition as on-campus students. Current tuition rates are here.
How do I take exams?

Do I have to attend full time to get financial aid?
No. The minimum is half time: five credits for graduate and professional students.
When I graduate, will my diploma say WSU Online?
Your diploma will say Washington State University. You will be a full-fledged WSU graduate. You can join the Alumni Association, network with fellow grads, and proudly wear the crimson and gray.
