This section focuses on how to search using the myWSU class search. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Written step by step instructions are provided or if you prefer you can watch the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/2yUNvdIkQEc\">Search for classes using myWSU video<\/a> which will walk you through the entire process. You can also find details on how to use the online class search near the bottom of this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To search for classes, students should follow the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Within <strong>Manage Classes<\/strong>, select <strong>Class Search and Enroll<\/strong> then choose the term in which you want to enroll.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1438\/2021\/02\/Class-Search-and-Enroll.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"292\" height=\"54\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Search for Classes<\/strong> field will appear. Select <strong>Additional ways to search<\/strong>, listed below the search box.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1438\/2021\/02\/Additional-ways-to-search.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"396\" height=\"196\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A pop-up window will appear with several search options available.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1438\/2021\/02\/Additional-ways-pop-up-menu.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"404\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start by selecting your career from the <strong>Career<\/strong> drop down menu. If you are seeking a Bachelor&#8217;s degree you would choose Undergraduate. If you are in a Graduate program outside of an MBA, pick Graduate. Pay special attention to the&nbsp;<strong>Session&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Meeting Dates<\/strong>. Select the hyperlink listed under <strong>Class<\/strong> for additional course information.&nbsp;<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1828\/2021\/02\/how-to-register-fluid-3-6-033120.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"246\" height=\"74\"><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After selecting the&nbsp;<strong>Class <\/strong>link, the&nbsp;<strong>Class Information<\/strong> pop-up window will appear with several tabs to review. Be sure to look at what\u2019s listed in the <strong>Enrollment Information<\/strong>&nbsp;tab, such as:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Special Course Fees<\/strong>, if any.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Under Requirement, are there Course Prerequisites? <\/strong>If so, do you meet the prerequisites?&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Class Note: <\/strong>Global Campus courses should list a web address in this section to the course More Information page. The More Information page provides important details about required course materials, textbooks, proctoring requirements, even syllabi.<br><strong><em>Heads up!&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><em>Global Campus course More Information pages may not list course details until a few weeks before the session begins. If no information is listed, be sure to check back.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Class Attributes <\/strong>will indicate if the course fulfills a UCORE.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1828\/2021\/02\/how-to-register-fluid-3-7-033120-396x207-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"396\" height=\"207\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you\u2019re ready to add the course to your shopping cart\u2014and ultimately enroll\u2014close the Class Information pop-up window and select the arrow on the right side of the <strong>Class Selection<\/strong>. Then select a prefix to browse for courses in a specific area, such as HISTORY.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you\u2019ve found a course you want to enroll in, there may be more than one section of the course offered. Each section has its own class number. For example, HISTORY 305 has three sections. The class number for section 1 is 11011, section 2 is 11012, and the number for section 3 is 14951.
