\r\n\t\tStudent Involvement Opportunities\t<\/h1>\r\n\t\t<\/header>\r\n\n\n\n

WSU Global Campus students have many opportunities outside of their online courses to engage and connect with their Cougar community including fellow students, professors, alumni, and others.\u00a0Find a variety of engagement opportunities including campus organizations, virtual events and games, and earn points towards swag prizes on Involve<\/a>, the WSU Global Campus’ student engagement hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global Connections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Through WSU Global Connections<\/a>, you can connect with peers and expert presenters via webinars, livestreamed events, academic contests, a book club and other engaging co- and extra-curricular activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Government<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a Global Campus student, you will have the opportunity to get involved with ASWSU Global<\/a>, WSU\u2019s online student government. You can participate in engaging in-person events<\/a> with the WSU Global community or even run to be a student representative<\/a>. ASWSU Global also offers reimbursements<\/a> for qualifying students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esports<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Global Campus Esports program<\/a> brings Cougs from around the world together with a fun, community-building, sports activity.\u00a0 We embrace esports, a competitive form of gaming, as an ideal way for online students to build camaraderie and school spirit, both as players and spectators. Along with hosting recreational esports events for students of all experience and skill levels, Global Campus is also home to an official esports team<\/a> that participates in national-level collegiate competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In-Person Events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Global Campus and ASWSU Global offers various meet-ups, sports and recreational activities, networking opportunities and family-friendly events at different locations throughout the year<\/a>. You\u2019ll have the opportunity to meet and connect with other members of the WSU community!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Center for Civic Engagement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can gain hands-on experience while helping improve your community through the WSU\u2019s Center for Civic Engagement (CCE)<\/a>.  The CCE is affiliated with community organizations throughout the US and in several countries, making a wide variety of community service opportunities available to Global Campus students, wherever they happen to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wellbeing Online<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You will have the opportunity to engage with Wellbeing Online, a service dedicated to helping you develop skills that foster a happy, balanced life by taking a holistic approach to healthy living. You can also take advantage of gym reimbursement\u2014up to $125 per semester through the Cyber Coug Fitness Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Depending on your field of study, you may be able to participate in a wide variety of hands-on research opportunities, both in the graduate and undergraduate level. Undergraduate students also have the opportunity to showcase their work and be recognized at WSU\u2019s Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graduation Celebrations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
