We understand that students have life events come up that may require a schedule change. For information on how to find the deadlines for your course, drop or withdraw from a course, or withdraw from the current term, please select from the following options.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-color-background--gray-5 screenshot-border wsu-row--single\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__19845\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">How to Find Individual Course Drop\/Withdraw Deadlines<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__19845\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>Drop and withdrawal deadlines are specific to each course. To find the official deadlines for a course you are enrolled in, follow these steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>From your myWSU student homepage, select Manage Classes.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1438\/2020\/02\/1-screenshot-manage-classes.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"267\" height=\"211\"><\/li><li>From the Manage Classes navigation menu, select View My Classes.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1438\/2020\/02\/2-screenshot-view-my-classes.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"266\" height=\"47\"><\/li><li>You may see multiple terms listed depending on the time of year. Select the appropriate term for the specific course deadlines you wish to view.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1438\/2020\/02\/3-screenshot-summer-session-undergraduate.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"210\" height=\"55\"><\/li><li>The courses you are enrolled in for that term will be listed. To view a specific course\u2019s deadlines, select the Enrollment Deadlines link listed with the course.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1438\/2020\/02\/4-screenshot-enrollment-deadlines.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"181\" height=\"26\"> &nbsp; <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.wp.wsu.edu\/uploads\/sites\/1438\/2020\/02\/5-screenshot-math-algebra-methods.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"682\" height=\"156\"><\/li><li>An Enrollment Deadlines pop-up window will appear. The drop and withdrawal deadlines will be listed within the Drop Calendar section. For deadlines to drop all classes and withdraw from the current term, select the Cancel and Withdraw link.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__4571\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Before the Term Begins<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__4571\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Should Know about Dropping Courses Before the Term Begins<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the first day of class, you may drop all courses you are enrolled in. You will not be financially responsible for these courses, and the courses will not show up on your WSU transcript. Instructions on how to drop are listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Drop One or More Courses Before the Term Begins<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>From your myWSU Student Homepage, select Manage Classes.<\/li><li>Select Drop classes from the left menu.<\/li><li>Select the checkbox for the course you wish to drop, and your reason for dropping.<\/li><li>Select Next, shown in the top right corner.<\/li><li>Review your course selection, then select Drop Classes.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-accordion\">\r\n    <h3 id=\"unique-id-1__19428\" class=\"wsu-accordion__title\">\r\n        <button class=\"wsu-accordion__title-button wsu-accordion--toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"unique-id-1__content\">Changing Enrollment for a Course During the Term<\/button>\r\n    <\/h3>\r\n    <div id=\"unique-id-1__content\" class=\"wsu-accordion__content\" aria-labelledby=\"unique-id-1__19428\">\r\n        <div class=\"wsu-accordion__content-inner\">\r\n            \n\n<p>Removing yourself from a class is called either a drop or withdraw depending on the date in which you remove yourself from the class. Please review How to Find Individual Course Drop\/Withdraw Deadlines above to find the deadlines for your course. Details of the difference of a drop vs. withdraw are listed below. You may drop or withdraw from&nbsp;<strong><em>all but one<\/em><\/strong> of your courses in myWSU. If you wish to remove yourself from all courses, review Withdraw from the Current Term below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Should Know about Dropping Courses During the Term<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Transcript:\u00a0<\/strong>Dropped courses will not show on your WSU Transcript.<\/li><li><strong>Refunds:<\/strong>\u00a0You may receive a tuition adjustment for dropped courses depending on the overall number of credits you are enrolled in before and after you dropped the course(s).<\/li><li><strong>Drop limits:\u00a0<\/strong>There is no limit to the number of courses you can drop as an undergraduate student.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/registrar.wsu.edu\/academic-regulations\/\">WSU Academic Regulation #67<\/a><\/li><li><strong>Financial aid:\u00a0<\/strong>Depending on your award package, you may face financial aid penalties including having to repay grant amounts before you can enroll in a future semester. You will still be able to enroll in the following term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Transcript:<\/strong> If you withdraw from the current term by the drop deadline for a course it will not show up on your transcript. If you withdraw from the current term after the drop deadline, your transcript will show a W grade.<\/li><li><strong>Refunds:\u00a0<\/strong>Refer to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/online.wsu.edu\/currentstudent\/costs\/tuition-and-fees\/refund-policy\/\">Withdraw from Current Term Tuition Refund Adjustment Policy.<\/a><\/li><li><strong>Current Term Withdrawal Request Limits: <\/strong>There is no limit to the number of times you can request to withdraw from the current term.
