The Global Campus offers several ways you can quickly earn extra credits, and speed up your time to degree completion:

Summer Session

Summer Session offers several short sessions, from four weeks to 12 weeks. The courses offered will vary by term.

For course start and end dates, select the course section link shown directly below the course prefix and number in the Schedules of Classes. Also visit the Summer Session website.

Intersession lets you earn three credits in the three weeks between the summer and fall terms. The session typically runs from the end of July through the first half of August, and you'll be able to access the course space before the session begins. You can take only one course, due to the time commitment required.

Winter Session

Earn three credits in three weeks during WSU’s online Winter Session. Winter Session courses are available to all enrolled WSU students. You can take only one course, due to the time commitment required, but you'll have access to the course space the day after you register, so you can get a head start. The session typically begins after fall semester finals are over, and ends before the spring semester begins.

One-credit Courses

Need a credit or two? One-credit courses are offered during spring semester with a mandatory face-to-face seminar held in March to coincide with the ASWSU Global Cougs’ Rendezvous event. The event is typically held at a location in Western Washington, with lodging options available for students.

The Rendezvous event also features a catered lunch, door prizes, resource fair, workshops, and a chance for you and your guests to mingle with fellow Global Campus students and staff. Information about Rendezvous is typically available when spring semester registration begins.
