Higher education can open doors to a world of exciting opportunities. For Global Campus student Madeleine Crookshank, graduating with her Washington State University degree will be a stepping stone for pursuing her passion: helping children with psychiatric disorders. While she earns her bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in psychology online from WSU Global Campus, Crookshank works as an Admission Service Coordinator in the emergency department at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Genger is an assistant teacher in Hamburg, Germany, teaching English to German kindergarteners. While teaching, she is earning her bachelor’s in humanities 100% online through WSU Global Campus.
“The experience overall has been great. Having the opportunity to finish my degree from the states and live abroad is amazing,” Genger said
To Shaniqua Manning, life is a journey. It’s a chance to discover unexplored avenues, learn new things, and encounter challenges and opportunities along the way.
In May 2019, one of Manning’s life goals was successfully achieved as she graduated from Washington State University with a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication, earned entirely online through WSU’s Global Campus.

For hundreds of WSU Global Campus students, this spring marks a life-changing accomplishment as they compete their degrees and receive their diplomas. In celebration of this well-earned achievement, online Cougs from all over the world made the trip to Pullman, Seattle, Everett and Vancouver to walk in commencement ceremonies and attend Global Campus graduation events.
While they were growing up, Juston Demke and Christina Homfeldt’s parents stressed the value of hard work and education.Their example pushed the siblings to get good grades at West Valley High School near Spokane and become their family’s first college graduates. On May 4, Demke and Homfeldt will celebrate another milestone: They’ll walk across the stage at Beasley Coliseum to accept online MBA degrees from Washington State University’s Carson College of Business.
