Scholarships are based on financial need, academic merit, talent, and\/or community involvement. For early consideration,&nbsp;apply and fill out the WSU General Scholarship Application every year before the January 31 deadline&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/financialaid.wsu.edu\/scholarships\/\">WSU Scholarships site<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Scholarship Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Check with your academic college or department, within your community, and on the Internet for other scholarship opportunities. In addition, the WSU Student Financial Services (SFS)&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/financialaid.wsu.edu\/scholarship-search\/\">Search for Scholarships website<\/a>&nbsp;can help identify scholarship opportunities for which you may qualify.
