Excellence in Online Teaching Award
The Excellence in Online Teaching Award recognizes instructional excellence and is nominated by Global Campus students.

WSU Names Karl Krotke-Crandall 2021-2022 Winner of Excellence in Online Teaching Award

Karl Krotke-Crandall, lecturer for Washington State University’s Department of History, is the winner of the 2021-22 Excellence in Online Teaching Award. The student-nominated annual award is in it’s sixth year.
Krotke-Crandall was one of 40 online instructors nominated for the award.
“I’m honored to be selected, and a little surprised. It can be challenging to know what type of impact I make as an educator in an online environment,” said Krotke-Crandall. “To see the comments from my students is heartwarming and validates my aims to provide them with an engaging learning environment.”

The Oaks Academic Technology Award recognizes the innovative use of technology to transform teaching and learning and is open to all WSU instructors.

Egbert wins 2022 Oaks Academic Technology Award
Joy Egbert, a faculty member at Washington State University’s College of Education, is the winner of the 2022 Oaks Academic Technology Award in recognition of her work integrating the Halo Augmented Reality App into the Educational Escape Room (EER) located in the Department of Teaching and Learning.
