Career Management and Developing Your Elevator Pitch

Career readiness is the attainment and demonstration of competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition to the workplace. Based on competencies developed by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the Carson College Student Success Center is committed to helping students develop and enhance these competencies. Join Gretchen Kokko, Jake Johnson, and Akasha Leffler, from Gretchen Kokko, Perkins & Co, as they discuss how to develop an engaging elevator pitch for your next networking event and strategies regarding career management.

The Carson Career Fall Series will introduce a variety of professional development workshops to better prepare you for upcoming online career fairs and networking events. Content will focus on several topics ranging from building your online brand to maximizing your networking presence in a virtual platform. These events will also give you the chance to connect to successful business professionals, enhance professional development, and learn about internship and career opportunities.

The Carson Career Fall Series is FREE to all WSU students, alumni, staff, and faculty.
