4 Things You Need to Do Now

  1. Set up your WSU Network ID.
  2. Beginning May 4, 2009: Create your Outlook Live @ WSU e-mail account. WSU and DDP will periodically correspond with you via e-mail using your WSU e-mail address, firstname.lastname@email.wsu.edu.

    To set up your account:
    • Log in to myWSU to get your new e-mail name and temporary password.
    • Visit email.wsu.edu to sign-in and activate your new e-mail account.
    • Important! Be sure to change your new Outlook Live e-mail password as the password provided through the myWSU site is temporary and should be changed.
    • You are ready to use your WSU e-mail account, just visit email.wsu.edu from any Web browser to login and check your WSU e-mail. This is your official WSU e-mail account, so check it regularly as official WSU communication will be sent to it.

  2. Taking proctored exams
  3. If you will receive financial aid you need to know about Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)


3 Requests from the DDP Student Services Staff that will make your life easier

  1. Check myWSU often for important announcements from WSU and DDP.
  2. Make sure to contact your advisor every semester before attempting to register.
  3. Be sure to return your rented course materials to DDP within 2 weeks after the end of the semester to avoid late charges.
