Petition for Refund or Removal of Fees

If you feel you have been charged a late fee in error, you can petition for refund or removal of the fee:

  • DDP Media Late Return Fee
  • Summer Tuition Late Payment Fee

Note: If you wish to petition a tuition late payment fee for spring or fall, please submit your request to the University Receivables Office.

How you submit your petition depends on whether or not you will be including documentation to support your request (e.g., signed mail receipt, FedEx shipment confirmation, payment confirmation):

  • If you are NOT including supporting documentation, please submit your petition for a fee refund/return online, using the "Online Submission" link below.
  • If you are including supporting documentation, select the "Mail/Fax Submission" link below, print out the form, and submit it as directed on the form with the documentation by mail or fax. Please be sure to provide all of the required information on the form; failure to do so will delay processing of your request.

Your petition will be reviewed upon arrival. Please allow ten business days for a response.
