WSU Does Not Mail Billing Statements for Tuition

To view your account balance and pay your tuition, go to myWSU.

Tuition is due the first day of the semester.

New Credit Card Rules

VISA is no longer be accepted for tuition, fees, and course-related expenses on your student account. MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards are accepted. There is a 2.5% convenience fee to pay by credit card. To avoid extra fees pay with a no cost electronic check. More information.



Methods of Payment

  • Electronic Check: The university strongly recommends utilizing an electronic check as there is no fee and the process is simple. More information.
  • American Express/Discover/MasterCard: View and pay your tuition online by American Express, Discover or MasterCard in myWSU; log in with your WSU Network ID and password and choose "Finances" then "Accounts." Select "View activity" to see your account activity and "Pay now" to make a payment. Note: A 2.5% convenience fee will be charged.
  • Check/Money Order: Please include your WSU Student ID number and mail your payment made out to "Washington State University" in U.S. dollars to the WSU University Receivables Office address:

  • Financial Aid/Scholarships/State Grant: When financial aid funds are released, current tuition and fee charges posted to a student's account are paid in full; any residual funds then are distributed to the student.
  • Veterans’ Benefits: VA benefits, including the Montgomery GI Bill, Vocational Rehabilitation, and spouse/dependent benefits, can be used to pay for distance courses for students who meet specific benefit requirements. Complete information about benefits and their requirements and the forms necessary for filing are available on the WSU Office of VA Web site.
  • Company/Organization Payment: If a company or government agency is paying tuition on behalf of a student, please direct them to forward the necessary paperwork to the following address:

    This will authorize a credit to the student's account and the company/agency will be billed by the University.

    Please be sure your name and WSU student ID number are included.

    NOTE: Students are responsible for payment of any posted charges in excess of financial aid or other benefits (e.g., veterans), and are subject to meeting payment deadlines (see DDP Academic Calendar)

    Payment of excess charges, if any, can be made by check/money order or credit card.
