Registering for DDP Courses – WSU Campus Students
(Pullman, Tri-Cities, Spokane, Vancouver)

Academic Standing: You must be in good standing as a student with WSU to register for DDP courses. Requirements for both registration and admission are the same for all WSU campuses.

  1. Work with your campus advisor for assistance with course selection.
  2. Visit the Schedules of Classes (Time Schedules) and choose the appropriate term next to DDP. Courses are displayed alphabetically by subject.
  3. Check if there is a letter(s) in the Notes Field. The letters indicate there is important information you need to know about the course before registering.

    What the letters mean:
U* = there is required material for the course that you choose to checkout from a WSU regional campus library or Learning Center.

R = there is required material for the course that DDP will ship to you and bill your student account the applicable rental fee. Rental material is the property of WSU and must be returned to avoid late fees.

    * There are a few DDP “U” section courses that have media that is not available to check out; this media will be sent to you and your student account will be billed the applicable rental fee.

    More about required course materials

Other letters you may see in the Notes Field:
X = the course is cross listed S = the course is graded S (satisfactory) or F (fail)

  4. Note the schedule line number (SLN) of the course. Some courses will not have SLNs listed; registration in those courses is restricted to students meeting specific criteria.
    • Pullman campus students must request permission to enroll in restricted courses by completing the online request form.
    • Regional campus (WSU Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver) students request the SLN from their on-campus academic advisors.
  5. Login to myWSU, select “Academics,” then select “Register & Plan,” and then select “Registration.”
  6. On the Registration page, select the semester who want to register for to begin the registration process. Follow the screen directions.
  7. When your DDP registration has been processed completely, the DDP courses in which you’re enrolled will be listed under the My Courses tab on your myDDP Web page.
  8. If you enroll in a course that has rental media that will be shipped to you (all “R” sections and a few “U” sections), please review the Rental Media Tracking page in myDDP under the My Courses tab. If you have questions, contact DDP Student Services (800-222-4978 or 509-335-3557 or distance@wsu.edu).

Note: Tuition and fees are due the first day of the semester. WSU DDP does not send paper tuition statements. See “ Paying Your Tuition and Fees.”
