The Distance Degree Library Services (DDLS) provides all DDP students with access to more than 3.5 million books, journals, documents, microforms, newspapers, indexes, and full text databases.
DDP students can expect:
- prompt retrieval and checkout of requested sources;
- free fast delivery of source materials, such as books and other circulating materials from the WSU Libraries, and through SUMMIT (academic libraries in Washington and Oregon);
- database access and searches on assignment-related topics;
- free electronic access to materials that do not circulate, including reference materials, microfilm, journal articles, and newspapers; and
- 24-hour toll-free telephone access, which allows you to request materials at your convenience (outside business hours you will reach voice mail).
Contact DDLS by calling toll free (800-435-5832) or e-mailing (edplib@wsu.edu).
Note to DDP students outside the United States: No circulating items -- books, media, etc., will be sent out of the United States.
In addition to WSU Pullman library access, distance learning students can access the resources of WSU's other public four-year institutions in Washington state with a special borrowing card.
For additional information regarding these cards, contact DDP student services ( 800-222-4978 or distance@wsu.edu).
