A course's schedule line number (SLN) must be used when registering, but the SLNs for restricted courses are not published in the Schedules of Classes. A course may be restricted for a variety of reasons. Approval for enrollment is granted by the academic department that has placed the restriction.
If you register for a course for which you are not eligible or have not been granted permission, you will be withdrawn from the course. This could jeopardize your financial aid and ability to add courses.
Request a Restricted SLN
- DDP students (advised by a DDP academic advisor) get restricted course SLNs through myDDP. Select the Advising Tab and Restricted SLNs.
- Regional campus (WSU Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver) students request the SLN from their on-campus academic advisors.
- Pullman campus and non-degree students must request permission to enroll by completing the online request form.
