Dropping or Withdrawing from a Course(s) or Withdrawing from ALL Courses

Please be aware that if you drop all your courses you will be disenrolled from WSU and will not be allowed to add courses. See “Withdraw from all courses” below for more information.

Drop a course within 30 days of the start of the semester (prorated schedule for shorter academic terms, see academic calendar)

You may drop a course up to the end of the 30th day of the semester in which the course is offered or according to a prorated schedule for shorter academic terms. No grade will be recorded on your transcript and you will receive a full refund of tuition. Unlike withdrawals (see below), there is no limit to the number of courses you can drop within the first 30 days as an undergraduate student. See WSU academic regulation #67

To drop a course:



Withdraw from a course between the 5th week and end of the 9th week of the semester (prorated for shorter academic terms, see academic calendar)

Students have a limited number of withdrawals available, depending on when they entered WSU. See WSU academic regulation #68 for complete information

To drop a course:

No tuition refunds are given.



Withdraw from a course after the 9th week (prorated for shorter academic terms, see academic calendar)

Under certain circumstances students will be allowed to withdraw from a course after the 9th week. See WSU academic regulation #69

To drop a course:

No tuition refunds are given.



Withdraw from all courses (cancellation of enrollment)

Note: When you withdraw from all of your courses you will be disenrolled from the University and will not be allowed to add courses. See WSU academic regulation #70

To cancel enrollment (meaning dropping all your courses from all WSU campuses and DDP) before the first day of classes:

Highlight

The last day to register for Fall 2008 courses is Sunday, August 24. Beginning Monday, August 25, a $25.00 Late Registration Fee will be charged.
