Become a Mentor!

When you started DDP, did you ever …

Feel completely lost?
Wish someone could “show you the ropes”?
Want to be able to ask “stupid” questions?

Help relieve the anxiety of transitioning to distance learning for a new DDP student. Volunteer to become a DDP mentor today!

Mentors provide advice and encouragement to new students through e-mail. After applying and being accepted to the program, each mentor is matched with a student who has similar interests. As a mentor, you’ll be committing to six months of exchanging several e-mails each month with your student.

Look no further for a fulfilling way to give back to your alma mater. We welcome mentors from all majors and backgrounds. Pass on your knowledge and expertise—volunteer today!

To be considered as a mentor, please complete the mentor application. For more information, contact the Mentor Program Coordinator (800-222-4978; ddpmentor@wsu.edu).
